mobile app. The CMT and Member app is a practice management and clinical decision-support

remote and underserved communities where connectivity is intermittent or unavailable for 
extended periods. Patient encounter records, point-of-care diagnostic results captured via 
NFC/BLE medical devices, credentialing data, and third-party app session logs must all be 
stored locally and synced reliably to PERSOWN’s cloud back-end when a connection becomes 
available. You will own the local database layer, conflict resolution logic, data encryption, and 
the server synchronization pipeline. 
Key Responsibilities 
Architect and implement a local-first database strategy to store patient records,

Design and build a bidirectional sync engine that handles intermittent or prolonged-

PERSOWN Connect is looking for a part-time developer with hands-on experience in NFC and 
Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication to integrate the PERSOWN Connect mobile app 
with point-of-care medical devices. CMTs in the field use portable diagnostic 
instruments—glucometers, digital stethoscopes, handheld ultrasounds, pulse oximeters, blood 
pressure monitors, wearables and similar devices—to conduct screenings and manage chronic 
conditions at the community level. The app must reliably discover, pair with, and read structured 
data from these devices via NFC or BLE, then feed the results into the patient record and offline 
sync pipeline. You will own the device-communication layer, protocol implementation, data 
parsing, and hardware compatibility matrix. 
Key Responsibilities 
Implement BLE scanning, pairing, and GATT service/characteristic communication on 
Android and iOS for point-of-care medical devices 
Build NFC tag reading for compatible diagnostic instruments used by CMTs
